Mythical Folklore Meets Cycling
A drop bear is a fictional, predatory, carnivorous version of the koala in Australian folklore, used as a prank to scare tourists, described as large, vicious marsupials that drop from trees onto people; it's a mythical creature; and the mascot for Dropbear Bikes — a new kind of dropbar bike.

Color Palette
A simple, but vibrant color palette that plays along with the mascots many moods.

A drop bar at 72º for gravel
Two core details shaped the Dropbear identity, including the custom wordmark and bear icon set. The first comes from the bike's drop-bar construction, defined by a 72º angle. The second draws from the natural form of a koala hugging a tree. The mark incorporates the "D" from Dropbear and serves as a foundation for expressing multiple bear personalities, while subtly echoing the curve of drop-bar handles in side view.
